Фонтанирующий источник в Опоках Самая большая река Вологодчины – Сухона. Начало берёт в Кубенском озере, а чуть ниже Великого Устюга отдаёт свои воды Северной Двине. Знаменита Сухона перекатами и порогами, живописными берегами, обратным течением в большое половодье, неоднократной сменой русла в устьевой части. Строптивая, своевольная река! Величавая и прекрасная!
